Brian D. Drazin
Plaintiffs' Personal Injury Law - Red Bank, NJ

Brian Drazin is one of New Jersey’s most accomplished and experienced personal-injury attorneys. His courtroom skills and confidence are well known to the insurance companies and their defense lawyers who know and respect his courtroom record. What’s more, he has a strong track record in cases involving automobile accidents, dangerous products, medical malpractice, fall down accidents and cases involving exposure to toxic substances. In recent years, he has secured some of the largest judgments in the region; he recently prevailed in an$30 million malpractice judgement, and the firm has secured more than $700 million for clients. Today, he is the youngest of the three Drazin brothers, all of whom have followed in their father Louis M. Drazin’s footsteps by championing the cause of accident victims.

Drazin and Warshaw has three offices located in Red Bank, Brick and Hazlet. The firm, which employs 12 attorneys and has over 70 employees in support, is perhaps the largest family-run practice in the nation. As a young lawyer, it was Brian along with his brother Dennis who won a major victory in Kenney vs. Scientific, Inc., a landmark toxic tort case involving approximately 100 plaintiffs and over 300 defendants. Drazin described the case as “the battle of a lifetime,” due to complex legal and medical issues and because, “like David battling Goliath,” he took on so many major chemical companies, generators and haulers of toxic waste.

As a former chair of the Judicial Committee and a past President of the New Jersey Chapter of the American Association of Trial Lawyers ATLA-NJ (now the New Jersey Association for Justice), Brian Drazin is front and center to legislative debates that are only getting hotter and include auto insurance reform as well as proposed changes in medical malpractice laws. Intensely focused and quick thinking -- something of a family trait -- Drazin is an influential voice in New Jersey political and legal circles.
