Plaintiffs' Personal Injury Law - Princeton, NJ

The law has changed so much in the last 20 years - in many ways the whole attitude of the country is different. Juries today have a tendency to sympathize with a defendant. The insurance industry has done a great job of characterizing legitimate claims as frivolous, and accident victims as somehow unworthy of the claims we make on their behalf. There is a kind of "blame the plaintiff" mentality out there - "Oh, the victim must've done something wrong, because it couldn't have happened to me." This new climate requires me and my team to work harder and to prepare better our clients' cases, to overcome this bias.

I have become something of a specialist in brain-injury litigation, a unique and challenging area of personal injury law. By definition the effects of a brain injury can be difficult to describe and characterize, particularly to a jury. Technology has of course made it easier to do this - there were no Pet Scans or MRIs when I got started. While the effects of a concussion are often difficult to measure and pinpoint - they still can be long lasting, even permanent.

Many clients, whose prior attorneys did not recognize nor appreciate the harm and damages that had befallen them have retained me. Understanding their injuries and the effect those injuries have had on their families and on their lives, have enabled me to obtain the large settlements and verdicts that they deserve.
