Plaintiffs' Personal Injury Law - Teaneck, NJ

Every good trial lawyer I've ever known has a record of wins and losses. No lawyer, certainly no trial lawyer, can claim a perfect record. So logically, we are never in a position to start making promises, or to predict outcomes of our clients' cases. In fact, no trial lawyer can tell their clients anything other than, "We are going to work as hard as we can to achieve a favorable result." No more, no less. The insurance companies know that I prepare every case to go to trial and for that reason alone I achieve fair compensation for my clients.

That said, sometimes cases are won before the first witness is called. We understand the jury selection process and how the results of that can heavily influence the outcome of a case. Every case has a unique strategy, and our experience makes us excellent strategists.

I come from modest means. I had two jobs while I was in college and one of them was shoveling concrete. So I know first hand how people earn their way through life and fight for everything they get. I'm no different. That's the way I've lived my life. Each day I go to work to earn my clients' respect because it is truly a privilege to be the lawyer selected to help them in their time of need. That is why I relate well to my clients. Our firm has an entrepreneurial culture. We work hard for everything we get and we don't let up. I know our clients respect that.

Fourteen years ago my 28-year-old secretary was killed in an automobile accident on Route 80. A tire flew off a car carrier and hit her head-on. Many urged me not to take the case - I was too close to the victim, they said. But I had to represent her family. I acted quickly and had the truck impounded. The seven-figure settlement for her family helped them have closure. The family made a substantial donation from the settlement to animal shelters in her memory. Equally important were the design changes to the truck chassis that followed. We had to have some reassurance that this kind of accident would not happen again.

I have participated in some of the most extensive and complex national litigation of our times - tobacco litigation class action cases in California and Louisiana. I have never declined a case that I thought I could make a difference on. In that sense, I still consider myself a hometown lawyer.

We have built our reputation on providing the best possible service to our clients for almost three decades. I have established an excellent track record of high settlements and verdicts by approaching each new case with the same enthusiasm and dedication as if it were my very first case. It is always satisfying to make a difference in my clients' lives.
