Plaintiffs' Personal Injury Law - Philadelphia, PA

One thing I always tell my clients is that we realize that your case is just that: Your case. We provide a level of individual attention that many firms don't. You don't get lost in anyone's shuffle. We handle a range of unique cases, but fewer cases - fewer than most firms our size will handle at a time.

So for us no two cases are alike. That kind of focus is one of the main advantages of our firm, and our clients recognize that. We've always worked with the understanding that the only case that matters to you is your own.

It's true that we handle a broader range of cases today - smaller and relatively straightforward personal-injury claims, as well as major, complex litigation, including class actions, consumer mass torts and FLSA-related cases. That's partly a strategic decision on our part. The nature of the stakes and potential outcomes in all of them poses different business risks for us.

But that approach is good for all of our clients, for two reasons: For one thing, we develop levels of expertise that complement every case we take on. And, more important, every case - large or small - is evaluated for its merits, and how well we can serve our clients. We don't turn away any case that we believe, based on our work and our analysis and experience, can generate results for our clients. We wouldn't take your case if we didn't think we could achieve a positive result. We invest in and work for every client from the start.

The culture of our firm really stems from the values of our founder, Gene Locks. Gene is one of the most principled lawyers any of us have ever known - we're lucky to work with him. Gene has a true, clear sense of right and wrong. Gene (now in his late 70s) is still involved and continues to influence our practice. And he's a great influence, for me and for everyone here.

I was born and raised in small working-class town and my father worked hard his whole life. I know what families go through to improve their lives, and the price they pay when they've been exploited or taken advantage of - illegally. I know first hand. That's one of the reasons I can relate well to our firm's clients - and what we do every day for them.

There is always going to be a place for the good lawyer seeking justice, seeking redress for the injustices and negligence that our clients are so often the victims of. There will always be powerful interests that are only too happy to cut corners - and put people at serious, dangerous risk.

Am I proud of what I do? You bet I am. I wouldn't be doing anything else.
