We as a firm are proud of our attention to detail - in the case of every client. For us it is of the utmost importance that we provide the same level of attention to every case - from the well-to-do client to those who have difficulty paying their legal fees.

In fact, we often work out financial plans with our clients - and that's a very important part of the attorney-client relationship because it reduces the stress and anxiety that come with a criminal charge.

More than anything we are committed to fairness - not only in how a case is heard in the courtroom, but in the way we as lawyers treat our clients.

My clients are often good people who have, in an instant, done something foolish or dumb, and are suddenly facing life-changing criminal charges. In most cases, what I try to do is convince a jury to see the positive qualities of my client - and to see that often they have already been punished.

As I often say, let's not pile on, or make the client's life any worse or more difficult.

Not long ago one of my clients was accused of assaulting people in a strip mall parking lot. It was a serious charge. But we helped him win an acquittal. At trial, we were able to show that the DNA evidence, presented by the prosecutor, could have applied to any number of people.

The most important thing a jury can bring to its deliberations is common sense. And they usually do. I think overall our system of justice works reasonably well - even though it is sometimes overwhelmed and unable to examine, in-depth, the facts and circumstances of every case.

Yes, there are surprising outcomes sometimes, but our system really is committed to fair treatment under the law. I think almost everyone in law enforcement approaches their work in that way as well - I work with detectives and other law-enforcement professionals all the time. I know how hard many of them work, and I know most are committed to the fair application of the law.

We've built a great firm - we have many diverse and strong talents as trial lawyers, in both criminal defense and in civil cases. We have strong practices in divorce law and personal injury law as well. And our clients come literally from everywhere - from all over the world, really - and we are proud of our record of successful representation of every single one.
