Criminal Defense Law - Haddon Heights, NJ

I'm a people person. I care about my clients. I provide great service and return phone calls quickly. I move fast for my clients because that's the best way to achieve favorable results.

When people come to me, they've often made a serious mistake. Sometimes they are falsely accused. The government may load up charges that the facts don't merit. My background and my knowledge of police procedure makes a difference. One day, I may succeed with suppressing seven pounds of cocaine in Gloucester County or having a 40-year sentence thrown out in Burlington County. Another day, I will successfully defend State Troopers or law enforcement officers in Camden, Cumberland, Mercer, Passaic or Atlantic counties. In every case, I explain to my clients what they can expect - in the way of a trial; in the way of possible penalties. I handle appeals. I file motions to reduce or change a sentence. I save people's driving privileges.

Some attorneys believe that there's only one position to take with law enforcement - an adversarial one. I believe in a good relationship with law enforcement. An outstanding attorney knows when to go into battle - and when to negotiate. I had a client who threw a punch at a police officer in a bar fight. We sent the officer and the department a letter of apology. Few lawyers would do that - concede the point. It was the right thing to do - and helped get my client a reduced sentence.

I enjoy the challenge of the courtroom. I enjoy interacting with the police. What I enjoy best is using my experience to help people when they could most use it.
