This is not a 9-to-5 business. Today it's more of a 24/7 practice. With smartphones, scanners and other technologies, we can quickly respond and update our clients on important issues and questions. This expedited communication is essential to being effective these days: If clients don't know what's going on, I find that they experience more stress and anxiety. I know that our superior communication with our clients is one of the ways we make this difficult situation more manageable. This is why clients feel secure referring their closest friends and family.

Before meeting with a client, I ask them to come in with certain documents and information - that way I can provide more specifics about their case, rather than simply dealing with hypothetical scenarios. I find that this helps them better understand the process. After some analysis and a thorough explanation, we help them select the best course of action for their matter. There's no question about it - an informed client is a satisfied client.

I am known for being easygoing, but I am no one's pushover. I know when to settle and when to litigate.

I chose to practice divorce and family law because I felt I could make a real difference in my clients' lives. I am always looking out for my clients' best interests and my clients can see that I have a genuine interest in their long-term happiness and well-being. That's why many of my clients are friends today.
