BIOGRAPHY Cary Cheifetz has built an outstanding reputation in the practice of matrimonial law, primarily in Essex County, over the past 22 years. His current firm, Ceconi & Cheifetz, has two partners and four associates. Based in Summit, Ceconi & Cheifetz has been well known in Essex County and Northern New Jersey since Cheifetz joined partner Lizanne J. Ciconi three years ago. Prior to 1999, Cheiftez enjoyed a long and successful practice with the Livingston-based firm Skoloff & Wolfe. He entered the field following a clerkship with a matrimonial court judge after graduating from law school. |
"A lawyer must also be mindful that support and equitable distribution issues are interrelated, since those seeking a divorce will be parting with or receiving assets that produce income available to pay or defray support needs."
"That experience, quite simply, taught me that in divorce law I could help people and positively effect their lives, in a way that I could not in other disciplines of the law." Cheifetz lives in Morris County, New Jersey. Copyright © 2002-2008 The Ten Leaders Cooperative |
