Hardworking, cheerful, and an exceptionally skilled lawyer, Cathy Pollak is one of Northern New Jersey’s most successful independent matrimonial attorneys. She has been practicing independently for more than 14 years, a rare accomplishment for any professional, and more remarkable in her increasingly competitive field. The Northern New Jersey native graduated at the top of her class at Cedar Crest College, a women’s college in Allentown, Pa. She went directly to law school and ultimately became a partner in a law firm in Bayonne which specialized in matrimonial law. Cathy started her own practice in 1993. Although she has extensive experience in general practice law, she decided early in her career to focus on family law. Over the years she has increasingly worked to promote more efficient, less expensive alternatives to the traditional courtroom process: Alternative Dispute Resolution and Mediation. As part of that role, she is founding member of the North Jersey Collaborative Law Group.
