Thomas Snyder is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and a member of its Family Law Executive Committee. He is co-chair of the Domestic Partnership Act Subcommittee to the Executive Committee and a General Counsel Representative to the New Jersey State Bar for the Family Law Section. He is also a member of the Morris and Union County Bar Associations. He is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyer of America. He is a former member and Barrister of the Central Jersey Family Law Inns of Court. He is a graduate of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy. He served as a clerk for Essex County Criminal Court Judge Peter Cooper.
