Florence Fass is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and a Barrister of the Family Law Inns of Court, an educational forum for experienced trial attorneys. She is a member of the Executive Committee of the New York State Bar Association's Family Law Section, as well as the Trial Lawyer Section. She has served as Chair of the State Family Law Section's Subcommittee on Topic Development & Educational Techniques and the Nassau County Bar Association's Matrimonial Committee, where she also served on the Association's Board of Directors. As a member of the Vermont Bar Association and the Nassau County Bar Association, she serves on various committees relating to Matrimonial Law, Professional Ethics and the Judiciary, as well as the We Care Board. She has earned the highest attorney rating from Martindale-Hubbell and lectures extensively throughout the state. She has appeared on Fox News, CNBC News and NewsTalk TV as a legal commentator on a variety of current issues relating to matrimonial law. She currently authors a regular column for the New York Law Journal on small firm practice and management.
