Gary Tabat has been practicing matrimonial law on Long Island for nearly 30 years, and his many affiliations reflect that. He is a former president and current member of the Board of Directors of the Suffolk County Matrimonial Bar Association. He is a member of the Nassau and Suffolk County Bar Associations, as well as the Association's Matrimonial Law and Family Law Committees. He lectures for the New York State Bar, the Suffolk Academy of Law, and the Matrimonial Bar Association of Suffolk County and has served as a facilitator in the Parent Education and Custody Effectiveness (PEACE) Program in Suffolk County. He has received Martindale-Hubbell's highest rating and is a former adjunct professor at Touro Law School. He has served as an adjunct professor of law at Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, teaching both Family Law and Advanced Law, for several years
