Kieth Rieger has been elected to and served two terms on the board of directors of the Nassau County Bar Association (1994-1997, 1998-2001) He was elected to and serves on the Executive Board of the Nassau Academy of Law, which plans and organizes continuing legal education programs for the Nassau Bar Association. He developed "Recent Decisions in Matrimonial Law," a journal produced by the Nassau Academy of Law. He serves on the Executive Committee of the Family Law Section of the New York State Bar Association. He served as chair of the County Bar's Matrimonial Law Committee from 1992-1994, and vice chair of the organization from 1990-1992. He has served several terms on the Judiciary Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association, and he also serves on the Matrimonial Law Committee and the Grievance Committee. For five years he served on the board of directors of the Nassau Lawyers Association. He also is a member of the Board of Directors of FOCUS. Rieger has lectured extensively on matrimonial law, in various venues, including conferences of the New York Bar Association, the Nassau Academy and the Suffolk Academy of Law. He has published several articles on Matrimonial Law, and has served as an editor of Nassau Lawyer. He helped draft a portion of New Matrimonial Rules for a NY State Bar publication.
