Michael Ostrow has been a member of the Bar of the State of New York for more than 43 years. He is among fewer than 100 attorneys nationally named as a diplomate in the American College of Family Trial Lawyers. He has been chosen to appear in all editions of "The Best Lawyers in America." He was a member of the Board of Directors and lecturer at the Advanced Practice Institute of Hofstra Law School, Hempstead, and has been a lecturer at the Practicing Law Institute of New York City. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, for which he served as national president, New York State Chapter president and Chair of the Continuing Legal Education Committee. He has served as Chairman of the Family Law Section of the New York State Bar Association and President of the Nassau County Bar Association and as Chair of its Judiciary Committee. He has lectured extensively on matrimonial and family law for the New York State Bar Association and has lectured before numerous Bar Associations throughout the New York state.
