Vincent Stempel was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1983 and his practice has been focused on matrimonial and family law. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and is a member of the Committee on Assisted Reproductive Technology. He is an officer of the New York State Bar Family Law Section. He is a member of the New York State Bar Executive Committee Family Law Section, and that group's incoming chairman. He is also a member of the State Bar Association's Family Law Committee, and the Nassau County Bar Association family Law Committee. A prolific writer and high-profile voice in the law, Stempel has published various articles in the area of matrimonial law and has appeared as a divorce law expert on many radio and television shows, including "Good Morning America," "Inside Edition," "Prime Time Court TV," and CNN. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Good Counsel, Inc. and St. Francis Retreat of the New York Archdiocese.
