I've always had clients with interesting lives and backgrounds. Often they are entrepreneurial people, professionals with successful practices or people facing difficult or unique problems. In that respect, I've been very fortunate - I've learned a lot from the people I've represented over the years.

People who come to me typically are not the cutthroat, to-the-mat type. They are looking to resolve things, but with a minimum of drama, no theatrics. They want to preserve family and business relationships, and resources. I'm not the kind of lawyer who will help you get even. I'll never engage in that kind of nonsense.

With that in mind, from our first conversation, I'll be straightforward and brutally honest. Given my experience, I pride myself in providing practical results, with a thorough and respectful approach.

Sometimes heading to court is unavoidable. With over thirty years in the Courts, I am known as a straight shooter, looking to get my client's story before the judge and great results for those I represent.

I've always been interested in the people I practice with. I've gotten to know other matrimonial lawyers, really from my first years in practice. So cases were referred to me from the start - I attribute that to other lawyers having confidence in my skills and in my work.
