In more than 20 years as an attorney in her native Nyack, New York, Linda Christopher has almost single-handedly built one of the most successful and respected independent practices in the region. She leads a firm focusing on litigation and matrimonial law. Known for her calm wisdom and insight, Christopher began her career working with Jerome Trachtenberg, widely regarded as the dean of the Rockland Bar, and it was in those years that she learned "how to practice law as a profession first, rather than as a business" - an approach she says she carries to this day. Early on she aspired to criminal litigation, but a clerkship with a Family Law judge swayed her to matrimonial law, where, she says, "I could help real people with real problems."
