Dr Paul LoVerme is widely renowned as one of the leading plastic surgeons in New Jersey, with a professional record that's especially remarkable given that as a physician he's just entering his professional prime. Indeed, the 60-year-old Glen Ridge native has already led the profession at both the state and national level, and in the last two decades The LoVerme Center has undertaken literally thousands of procedures, which have changed the lives of his patients. LoVerme's career path began early - his father was one of New Jersey's pioneering plastic surgeons, based in East Orange and later Bloomfield - "I remember going to the hospital when I was 8 years old with him." (His three siblings are also in medicine; one is a plastic surgeon in suburban Boston. "We were very competitive growing up") After his residency in plastic surgery he joined his father in the mid 80s; they practiced together for more than six years (his father passed away in 1991).

In many respects LoVerme's practice evolved with the field itself - "When I began, the whole area of laser technology along with liposuction technology was just beginning. Our practice grew with all of that."

He is widely known for reconstructive and cosmetic surgery, including facelifts, eyelid lifts, Rapid Recovery breast enhancement and internal bra lifts.

Dr. LoVerme and his family currently live in Cedar Grove. Away from work he enjoys sailing, fishing and gardening.
