Fred Johs is a member of the Defense Research Institute, the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the Suffolk County Bar Association and the Nassau-Suffolk Trial Lawyers Association. He serves on a variety of court-appointed committees, including the Grievance Committee of the Tenth Judicial District, the Commission on the Jury of New York State, and the Krausman Commission of the Appellate Division, Second Dept. Johs is admitted to practice before the New York State Courts as well as the U.S. District Court, Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He has lectured frequently on trial techniques, medical malpractice and product liability issues for several organizations, including the New York and Suffolk Bar Associations. He serves on the Board of Directors of The John T. Mather Memorial Hospital.
